So far at Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods on the Disney Wish, we’ve raved about Donald’s Cantina and were mostly positive about Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue. This time, we turn our sights to Goofy’s Grill.
To quickly catch up in case you’re just joining us: Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods is an assortment of counter service options on the Disney Wish. It’s located on deck 11 forward and is open primarily for lunch and early dinner, with a few options open until evening for those later munchie cravings.

Goofy’s Grill, as the name implies, is where you’ll find classics such as burgers and hot dogs. For vegetarians, Goofy’s Grill also offers an Impossible burger and plant-based sausage. If you have a kiddo who only wants chicken tenders, this is your place! Goofy’s Grill even offers chicken tenders, which we’ve heard are really delicious.
This wurst is the worst.

I bet you’re thinking we thought the plant-based sausage was the worst, right? Joke’s on you: we (unfortunately) didn’t try it. Sadly, we have to critique the Bratwurst on the menu! While Disney really tried, we were not fans of the bratwurst at all. It could be our Wisconsin bias showing here.
First, these are definitely not Johnsonville brats. (Wisconsin bias #1) Secondly, and this is our other Wisconsin bias: they weren’t boiled in beer prior to grilling! I’m sure there’s legal reasons for this. Sadly, the bratwurst was lacking the flavor and pizazz from being steamed instead of boiled and grilled. The pretzel bun, while nice, wasn’t enough to save this sausage from being the worst wurst.

The hot dog that we tried, while better than the bratwurst, was just okay. It’s a standard theme park hot dog, so it lacked heartiness, flavor, and the natural casing snap we’re used to. (Wisconsin bias #3)
Side items include french fries upon request, along with some cold items such as coleslaw and macaroni salad. Located nearby was a condiment station for all your ketchup, mustard, and mayo needs.
Well that’s a bummer.
Indeed, we went to Goofy’s Grill with high hopes and left disappointed. Fortunately, many of the other options at Festival of Foods were better received by us, and perhaps we had bad luck and picked the weakest of the menu choices at Goofy’s Grill. The only way to find out for sure is to return and give the rest of the menu a try!
