It’s no secret that lounges at Walt Disney World are great places to find unique cocktails. You can also find unique cocktails elsewhere on property, such as cocktail stands at Hollywood Studios, or limited time offerings at certain quick service restaurants. Often times you can even find a unique cocktail or two at your resort pool bar.

I’ve collected an assortment of unique cocktails in my travels to Walt Disney World, and I’d like to share some favorites, and a few classics, with you.

Maple Old Fashioned – Ale & Compass Restaurant
Yacht Club Resort

Old Forester Bourbon, Maple Syrup, Orange Juice, and Angostura Bitters.
This old fashioned was so good, I had to order a second one. I normally don’t drink an old fashioned but I certainly made an exception that night. Incredibly good drink! 10/10.

Southern Hurricane – Scat Cat’s Club
Port Orleans French Quarter

Disney world cocktails hurricane

Plantation Original Dark Rum, Bayou Silver Rum, and Tropical Juices topped with a float of Southern Comfort.
Have you ever been to New Orleans? I haven’t, but I’ve heard about how great of a drink the Hurricane is! Once again, this cocktail was so good I had to order a second one. In fact, the food at this lounge is also really good! (I recommend the fried pimiento cheese). I’m going to assume these are as good, if not better, than what you can get in The Big Easy. For now, I’m happy with this one.
In summary: Hurricane the storm – bad. Hurricane the drink – very good!

Seychelles Martini – Victoria Falls Lounge
Animal Kingdom Lodge

Cruxland Gin, Raspberry Liqueur, and Pineapple Juice served with a souvenir Glow Cube.
Victoria Falls Lounge has a lot of unique cocktail options. So many, I had a difficult time choosing! Ultimately, it came down to which drinks came with a glow cube, because then I can take it home and liven up my Diet Coke while browsing Netflix. Also the raspberry liqueur was intriguing.

Shimmer Over the Moon – Animation Bar
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

disney world cocktails animation bar

Ole Smokey Apple Pie Moonshine, Amaretto, Falernum syrup, Pineapple juice, and Club soda.
Here’s one instance of a unique cocktail inside the parks. Animation Bar is located near Hollywood Brown Derby inside Hollywood Studios and is at the perfect location to grab a drink just because, or while waiting for your Brown Derby reservation.

Banana Cabana – The Drop Off Pool Bar
Art of Animation Resort

disney world cocktails pool bar

Cruzan Mango Rum, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Bols Crème de Banana, Orange Juice and Pineapple Juice with a float of Grenadine.
What it lacks in appearance, it makes up for in flavor, I assure you. Also it’s in a plastic cup because it’s a pool bar and glass isn’t allowed near the pool. Once again, this drink was so good I ordered another one the next day.

Margarita – Maya Grill
Coronado Springs Resort

disney world cocktails margarita

Monte Alban Silver, orange liqueur, fresh pressed lime, organic simple syrup & a splash of OJ.
…and some days, you just want a plain ol’ margarita. Nothing special or fancy, just a time honored classic cocktail.

So there you have it! Not an extensive list by any means, but a good representation of unique cocktails you can find around Walt Disney World. As you can see, I found them in a variety of locations, from restaurants to in-park drink stands. I had more to share but those cocktails were either limited time offerings, or I simply forgot what it was called.

Like this crazy concoction:

disney world cocktails i forgot what this is

I remember it was at Fairfax Fare at Hollywood Studios during fall. I think it was like a caramel apple pie thing? The boba was weird. The sweet rim was not my favorite. I remember where I had it, and kind of what was in it, but other than that I’m drawing a blank. It wasn’t that good anyway.
