Have you ever had a chance to roam around some of the moderate resorts at Walt Disney World and notice “there’s a lot of fountains here!” I first noticed this at Port Orleans French Quarter. After a stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, I noticed it there as well.
Lobby
When you enter the original lobby area, this is the first fountain that will greet you. From this perspective, Grand Destino Tower is to your left, and the gift shop is to your right.

Casitas Area
Going outside past Maya Grill and towards the Casitas area of Coronado Springs, this will be the next fountain you find. It’s much wider than the picture appears.

But wait, there’s more! When you walk around to the back side of this fountain, you’ll see another feature: Pottery! I love the use of pottery in this fountain as it’s such a unique, charming detail! One pot was not pictured because I guess the drain was clogged, so the water from the fountain was actually overflowing from the top. None of the others seemed to have this problem, though.

Further Back in the Casitas Area
Venturing further into the Casitas area, you will be greeted by another fountain in a central resort square area.

As you continue along, you will discover this lovely water feature as well that includes lions along the sides.

One more in the back.
Near the back of the Casitas area, you will discover this last fountain in that couples enjoy taking photos in front of. You can see this fountain from the main walkway around the resort as well. The path to the fountain is flanked by some very lovely and fragrant flowers.

I hope you enjoyed this little photo tour of the fountains at Coronado Springs Resort. Coming up in a future article is a quick tour of the fountains at Port Orleans French Quarter.
