If you’ve sailed on Disney Cruise Line before, you’re well aware of this breakfast. The last meal of your cruise. Breakfast before you have to leave. It’s arguably the saddest breakfast on Disney Cruise Line. You don’t want to leave the ship and go back to reality. The ship staff can’t wait for you to leave so they can turn the ship around for the next cruise. It’s a moment.
So what is the menu like that morning? Well friends, let me tell you, it’s not much. And what they do have is designed to be served fast. Get you in, fed, and out the door.
We’ve compiled pictures of Disembarkation Day Breakfast from several cruises in order to give you a good representation of what to expect. Exquisite cuts of the finest produce? Nope! How about a cafeteria-style fruit bowl? Three egg omelet oozing with melty cheese? Well, not exactly. But they do have triangle shaped hashbrowns!
The same pastries, at least!

We love a good breakfast pastry! And we’re happy to report that these are the same pastries they come around with during a normal sit down breakfast on the ship. Selection may vary, and Hidden Mickeys may happen by accident if you choose the correct pastry combination.
At least Denny’s gives you bananas…

Yep. It’s a fruit cup! Gone are the slices of papaya from the breakfast fruit plate, and instead you’re greeted with chunks of cantaloupe, melon, watermelon, and heck maybe a pineapple or two.
Omelet you finish…

Yep. It’s an omelet, complete with triangle hashbrown! Potato Cake, if you’re an Arby’s fan. Look, it’s not meant to be pretty, it’s meant to get you fed and out the door. Well, off the ship.
The breakfast plate is a little better…

The Eggs for the Road is a little better. You do get to request how you want your eggs, AND, you get your choice of breakfast meats! But yeah, this is all you get.
It’s not all sad and depressing, though…

Nature’s Muesli is not something we would normally order. Similar to overnight oats (we think?), this had oatmeal mixed with granola, golden raisins, yogurt and honey, swimming in milk. It was surprisingly tasty! Our favorite breakfast appetizer, by far, and a surprise recipient of the Disney Rover Seal of Approval!
Maybe we’re ordering the wrong breakfast?

Because look at this French Toast! We were expecting French Toast Sticks. Okay, next cruise we’re skipping the omelet and getting french toast instead.
Definitely don’t order this!

This is supposedly the Southern Hash. It sounds good, but it doesn’t look good. Two options here: order something else, or go to Cracker Barrel.
Order Lox if that’s your thing.

We get some people really enjoy a bagel with lox. On the menu it’s Sliced Smoked Salmon, but c’mon, we all know it’s a bagel with lox. We tried it because it’s new to us. It’s not something we’ll get again, but if you like it, you should order it. We won’t judge.
We fed you, now leave! Please.
Nobody wants this breakfast to end because that means your cruise is about to end. Sadly, it’s all something we have to face on a Disney cruise. We’ve included a link to a menu below so you can check out other items we didn’t cover for breakfast (they have pancakes!).
Our official policy here at Disney Rover for the last day is: “we’re not leaving until you feed us.” We paid for this breakfast, and darn it, we’re having it before we leave. Also it gives us one last chance for an emotional thank you and ‘until next time’ to our wait staff. They do such a phenomenal job.
On that note: you too paid for this breakfast as part of your Disney cruise and you too should partake in it. Get your money’s worth!

Thank you very much for reading! We’ll see you next time.
…with less depressing content. (promise!)
